Unarmoured Cables

Unarmoured cables are power and wiring cables without a metallic armour layer. They rely on the insulation and outer sheath for protection, which makes them lighter, more flexible and easier to install than armoured cables. They are widely used where the cable runs inside conduits, trays, walls or protected enclosures and is not exposed to heavy mechanical stress.
Electrostar manufactures unarmoured cables in a range of sizes and core configurations for industrial, commercial and residential projects. Because they cost less and install faster, they are the practical choice for internal wiring, control rooms, panels and building services. If you are not sure whether armoured or unarmoured is right for your site, call our team and we will suggest the best option for your installation and budget.
